Sending a Mail/Care Package

Inmates can receive mail every day. Send letters and postcards directly to inmates. You do not need to include an inmate number on the envelope. Address mail to:

Inmate Name

Union County Sheriff’s Office

You should include your name and return address on the envelope. The Union County Jail will screen incoming mail and might reject and destroy any mail that does not have a return address on it. The mail will then not be delivered to the inmate.

Inmates at the Union County Jail can purchase items in the commissary up to $100 per week. You can add money to their commissary accounts in a few different ways. You can do it online. You can also send a money order to the inmate in the mail. Make the money order out to the inmate’s name and send it with a letter in the mail.

You can also give money in a kiosk in the lobby of the jail. You can pay with credit card or cash at this kiosk.
