Sending a Mail/Care Package

When you send mail to an inmate, be sure to include your own name and return address on the envelope. The mail will be discarded if this information is not included.

While you cannot send books or reading materials to inmates directly, you can arrange for soft cover books to be sent directly to the inmate from Amazon or another book publisher. Newspapers and magazines can also be sent directly from the publisher to an inmate.

Sending Money

The easiest way to send money to an inmate at Hunterdon County Correctional Facility is through MoneyGram or by Western Union. The funds will then be deposited into their Commissary accounts. Make sure you contact the jail first to make sure the inmate is still present and can receive funds.
