Sending a Mail/Care Package

Send all mail via the USPS. Do not use UPS, FEDEX, or any other form of delivery. To make sure the mail reaches the inmate, clearly print the inmate’s name, inmate ID number, and the Burlington County Juvenile Detention Center address on the envelope. Visitation

Visiting inmates at the Burlington County Juvenile Detention Center is not too difficult. Before the visit, provide each visitor’s full name to jail staff. This information will be added into a log as an Authorized visit. Prepare to show valid identification. You need to call the jail in advance so they can do any necessary pre-screening and background checks. They will help you select the best time to visit an inmate.
