This is a male, medium-security prison that can house around 40 inmates and any point in time. There are three dormitory style housing units at the Gallatin County Re-Entry Program. Several programs are offered at the Gallatin County Re-Entry Program to help inmate’s learn skills. They work in the prison’s kitchen, the laundry house, and perform janitorial duties. Some even participate in vocational training offered through Montana Community College.

Sending a Mail/Care Package
While mail will be read and checked over by Gallatin County Re-Entry Program personnel, inmates can receive and send mail.

While inmates at the Gallatin County Re-Entry Program cannot receive calls, you can set up an account with AdvancePay to prepay for the inmate to make phone calls to you. You will place money on your phone number, which will then pay for the phone call from the inmate. You can find instructions here.
You can set up funds a few different ways. You can go online here and create prepaid telephone account, add more funds to an existing account, or check an account balance.

For inmates in the regular population, you do not need to plan a visit ahead of time.
You can get there a half hour early to begin the registration process.
For other inmates, call 406.994.0300 ext 3 to arrange for a visit with an inmate.
