Start your search online for inmates. Before your search, make sure you have the following information available:

-
The Maryland DOC number, or
-
The SID (state identification) number
Sending a Mail/Care Package
Inmates at the Baltimore City Correctional Center love to receive mail, and it is encouraged. To send mail to an inmate, include the offender’s name, Maryland DOC number, and unit address. You can find the specific unit address for an inmate at this website.
While you cannot send books, newspapers, and magazines directly to an inmate, you can work to set up shipments of these materials directly from a publisher to an inmate.
Sending Money

Phone calls
Inmates cannot receive phone calls, but you can get set up so an inmate can call you. To register your phone number, start on this webpage.
Before you get started registering, make sure you have the offender's Maryland DOC ID Number. If you do not know the ID Number, you can search for that here. You can also get assistance by calling 410-332-4340 or 410-332-4340.

Visitation
Schedule your visit ahead of time, or you might get turned away. Plan to visit on Saturdays and Sundays between 8:00 a.m. and 5:00 p.m. Inmates must list the names of all visitors on a Visitor’s List
Work with the Baltimore City Correctional Center Warden’s office to schedule a visit. You can reach out to them between 8:00 a.m. and 5:00 p.m. at least one day before you plan to visit.
