Sending a Mail/Care Package

Inmates can receive mail every day. Send letters and postcards directly to inmates. You do not need to include an inmate number on the envelope. Address mail to:

Inmate Name

Cumberland County Sheriff’s Office

50 County Way, Portland, ME, 04102

You should include your name and return address on the envelope. The Cumberland County Jail will screen incoming mail and might reject and destroy any mail that does not have a return address on it. The mail will then not be delivered to the inmate.
