South Portland Jail allows you to call and leave messages for an inmate. Or, an inmate can make phone calls. For either service, set up an account with Securus on their website or by calling them at 207-799-5511. Inmates must make phone calls to a landline, and are not permitted to make 3-way phone calls or call a cell phone directly.

Visitation

Inmates at the South Portland Jail can be visited any day of the week between 1:00PM and 5:00PM. Visitation happens through a video link system. Any adult over the age of 18 and any minors that are the children of inmates can visit in this time period, as long as the children are accompanied by an adult. Visits are limited to 20 minutes per visit.
