Sending Money

There are a few options to provide money to an inmate. You can come directly to the jail and make arrangements in person with a jail staff member. You can deposit money online, or you can mail money to an inmate. To mail money, send a money order to the attention of the Clayton Jail, and put the inmate’s name and inmate number in the memo field of the money order. It’s best to call ahead and alert them this is coming to ensure it does not get lost in the mail.

Inmates can visitors anytime between 10:00AM and 2:00PM every day. However, you should call ahead and arrange a visit to ensure all paperwork is in order and there are no complications. Inmates can also not receive visitors the same day that they are booked.
