This prison serves as the maximum security prison for the state of Hawaii, and Women’s Community Correctional Center can house approximately 50 inmates at one time. Inmates at the Women’s Community Correctional Center are offered vocational training opportunities, educational programs, and treatment services for addictions to help them learn skills to one day use when reentering society.

Remember that any message going in or out of the prison will be inspected by jail personnel to ensure compliance and nothing illicit is contained in the message.

Sending Money

The easiest way to send money to an inmate at Women's Community Correctional Center by a Lockbox Deposit Coupon (cashier's check or money order). You can obtain coupons from the inmate.

Because of counterfeit activity, it will take up to 14 calendar days for the money to be deposited into an inmate’s account, so it is best to plan ahead as much as possible.

Visiting hours are from 8:30 A.M. until 2:45 P.M. for maximum and close custody inmates.
