Sending Money

The easiest way to send money to an inmate is to do so online. Inmates can maintain money in an account for commissary expenses.

There is a kiosk in the lobby of the Chignik Bay County Jail, and you can add funds to inmate’s accounts at the kiosk. There is a $2.50 service charge for each transaction.

You should call ahead to inquire about visitation. Inmates at the Chignik Bay County Jail can receive visitors, but they must add you first to the visitor’s list. You might consider sending the inmate a letter with all your relevant information and request they add you to the list.

When you are approved to visit, you will need to bring valid government photo identification, dress conservatively, and do not bring any contraband material to inmates.
