Sending a Mail/Care Package

Send all mail via the USPS. Do not use UPS, FEDEX, or any other form of delivery. To make sure the mail reaches the inmate, clearly print the inmate’s name, inmate ID number, and the Bethel County Jail address on the envelope. No packages will be accepted, only regularly size letters and postcards. All mail is open and inspected, so do not send anything pornographic, violent, or illegal.

Sending Money

You can send money to inmates at the Bethel County Jail. They can hold accounts with up to $290 in them, and that is the maximum you can send in a month. Send money via money order, cash or check. Just make sure to write the inmate ID on whatever payment method (not the cash itself).
